Kids have it better than me

Here's the dialog among the students and me as we were getting ready to go on our field trip today.

One of the kids: Do we have to bring our jackets?
Me: I don't think so. I think it will be warm, but I'm not positive because I didn't watch the weather report last night.
Bryan: Oh don't worry. I saw the weather [report] on my Ipod Touch that it will be a little cloudy but mostly sunny.

An 8 years old kid checks the weather on his Ipod Touch, and I still live in the caveman era, watching the weather report on TV.

But more impressive is the fact that your school serves a low-income community. How did that kid's parents afford that?!
