Milestones

This morning I went to see my doctor and had my staples and sutures removed. He said it wasn’t going to hurt. But it did. Skin started growing and he had to give a slight tug to remove some of the staples. Blood oozed out a little from some of them. Here’s some before and after pics.

He said I’m doing well and that I will probably start therapy in about 6 weeks. In the meantime, I should just continue walking using my walker and elevating my leg when I’m sitting.

I also hit up Costco on my way home. The kind workers told me I should use the electric scooter. How could I resist?
